In a spectacular time practice for the MXGP boys, it was Nestaan Husqvarna rider, Kay De Wolf who clocked the quickest time with 1.34.365 just ahead of the other big hitters, Tim Gajser, Lucas Coenen and Jeffrey Herlings. Those riders were all within a second of each other.

Kay De Wolf: I was feeling good, really tacky and technical and I am enjoying it. Hopefully we can get a good start and battle up front. I don’t have trouble with the heat and I had a nice four week break where I worked on my physical and my thumb is a lot better.
