De Wolf Quickest in France
Nestaan Husqvarna rider has made the most of the early going in France, clocking the quickest time of the MX1 class. The MXGP rookie clocked a time of 1.44.333 to go top, from Pauls Jonass, Lucas Coenen, Greg Aranda and Calvin Vlaanderen.
Very exciting timed qualification with Maxime Renaux clocking a good time early to lead the MX1 times, while Kay De Wolf and Lucas Coenen put together some good times throughout the session. Also veteran, Greg Aranda in amongst it, as was HRC new man, Tom Vialle.
As time was running out, Coenen went to the top of the list with a 1.44.554 to be hald a second ahead of Calvin Vlaanderen on the Ducati, who did a 1.45.146 late. Renaux dropped to third quickest, with de Wolf, Aranda, Vialle, Benistant, Horgmo, Ludwig and Jonass the top ten.
Vlaanderen’s Ducati team mates were struggling a little, with Bonacorsi 14th quickest and Seewer 18th. Pauls Jonass did something very special, with a time of 1.44.401 with just seconds remaining in the session. Then with only 10 seconds remaining, De Wolf did a 1.44.333 to go to the top.
