A Fleet of 70th Anniversary Yamahas for Team DocWob at VMXdN 2025! Get ready for the biggest vets event in the world! With only four weeks to go until one of the most anticipated races on the British MX calendar, Team DocWob is proud to unveil the stunning images of this year's fleet of Yamaha bikes, celebrating Yamaha's 70th anniversary.

This year, we’re featuring three of the 2002 model Yamaha YZ 250s that were kept from the 2024 event. These race bikes, previously used by legends Ryan Villopoto, Mike Brown, and Alessio Chiodi, have been serviced and are primed for action at the iconic Foxhill circuit over the bank holiday weekend, with gates opening at midday on Thursday, 21st.

Throughout the summer, our team has sourced and built an additional five 2002 steel-framed YZ 250s, undergoing full restoration and rebuilds for our incredible riders: Mike Brown, Phil Nicoletti, Ryan Sipes, Alessio Chiodi, Ben Townley, and Tommy Searle—what a lineup! Additionally, we have two bikes reserved for multiple Dakar winner Sam Sunderland and TV celebrity daredevil Guy Martin, who will compete at the Farleigh Vets MX event on its traditional mid-September date, with gates opening at midday on Thursday, 11th, at the historic Somerset GP circuit.

While Mike Brown recovers from a major crash, the number 7 bike has been retired for this year's events. However, he’s working hard to attend the VMXdN as a guest of honour to sign autographs! Stay tuned for a special launch of Tommy Searle's bike on his YouTube channel. With 2025 marking Yamaha's 70th anniversary, we collaborated with Yamaha Motor Europe to create a celebratory white and red anniversary livery, in line with the official MotoGP, MXGP, and AMA teams' releases earlier this July.

The only unique feature on the DocWob team bikes is the stunning gold rims, paying homage to the evo event. We recently completed a full photoshoot for features in TMX News and the event programmes. A huge thank you to our industry partners who made these builds possible:
