Dutch Masters - Cancelled

Posted on April 30, 2021

The Dutch Masters of Motocross will again be cancelled in 2021, just as it was in 2020. Hopefully some races will be organized from the Dutch federation for the GP riders, like they did last year, as for now, there are no pre-season races in the weeks leading into the MXGP championship.

"We have kept hope alive for a long time," The Masters organizers said. "But we cannot help but cancel Dutch Masters of Motocross 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic makes it impossible to create a full-fledged DMoMX competition. SCO (Oldebroek), Hamac (Harfsen), SMO (Oss), MACRO (Rhenen) and Motorsportpark Gelderland Midden (Arnhem), KNMV, sponsors and other partners have done everything to achieve a series of great events. Unfortunately, the current corona measures, for the second year in a row, throw a spanner in the works. That’s just the way it is."

"In the meantime, we look forward to the start of the KNMV ONK Motocross and of course the performances of the many DMoMX riders in the European and World Championships! And… big plans are in the making for Dutch Masters of Motocross next year. So keep following us, because beautiful things are coming!"
