With the Grand Prix season now more than likely starting in Argentina on March 8, the pre-season might be a little longer than first expected. Either Cordoba or Bariloche looking likely to be holding the MXGP of Argentina, but that news will come soon, maybe even this week.

The pre-season for the Grand Prix riders seems to have been mostly completed, with the opening race of the season being at the Alghero motocross track in Sardinia, Italy on February 1, then a week later its Mantova on February 8. These are the two rounds of tie International Italian championship. Always a big field of riders expected for this one

A week later its the Hawkstone Park International on February 15 with names like Herlings, Febvre and many more involved. Lierop in the Netherlands will hold a pre-season race the week before Argentina, with Lierop being on March 1. On February 28 - March 1, there will be an opportunity for the GP riders to race the Castelnau-de-Lévis circuit in France.
