Everts Wins Saturday - MX2
Nestaan Husqvarna rider, Liam Everts has won the Saturday qualification race at the Dutch GP, held in Arnhem today. The Belgian charger took the lead in the race after early leader, Sasha Coenen crashed and dropped back to fifth place. Fullspectrum.
MX2 Qualification Race
Coenen with the lead in the MX2 qualification race ahead of Everts, Reisulis, Lata, Farres, McLellan, Karssemakers, Langenfelder, Reisulis, Mikula. Lap one and Everts was all over the back wheel of Coenen for the lead, with Janis Reisulis was 2.2 behind in third, with Farres fourth, then McLellan, Karssemakers, Lata, Karlis Reisulis, Langenfelder and Mikula.
Lap three and Coenen had gotten away from Everts, with the gap 2.3 seconds, with Farres 6.2 behind in third, then McLellan, Reisulis, Karssemakers, Karlis Reisulis, Langenfelder, Lata and Mikula. Lap five, Coenen remained two seconds ahead of Everts, with Farres, 5.1 behind.
Everts takes the lead as Coenen crashed and dropped back to fourth place behind the two Triumphs of Farres and McLellan. The crash handed Everts a four second lead over Farres, with McLellan all over the back wheel of his Spanish team-mate, with Reisulis fourth and Coenen back to fifth. Everts wins it from McLellan and Farres.
