Guillem Farres: Decent start, around third and made some quick passes early then Sasha was pushing and he made it tough, but we made it work.
MX2 Moto One
Langenfelder led the opening MX2 moto, with Coenen second, then Farres, but the Spaniard passed both guys and took the lead. Walvoort fourth, then Janis Reisulis, Karssemakers, Karlis Reisulis, McLellan, Everts and Mikula 10th.
Lap one the top ten was Farres, Coenen, Langenfelder, Walvoort, Janis Reisulis, McLellan, Karlis Reisulis, Everts, Karssemakers and Mikula. Janis Reisulis passed Walvoort to take over fourth place.
Farres continued to lead after six laps, with a two second lead over Coenen, and Langenfelder six seconds behind the Spaniard. Then came Janis Riesulis, McLellan, Walvoort, Karlis Reisulis, Everts, Mikula and Karssemakers.
Lap 10 and not a lot of changes, as this fast circuit doesn’t really allow close racing in MX2 moto one. Farres held a 2.3 second lead over Coenen, with Langenfelder still around six seconds back, then came Janis Reisulis, McLellan, Walvoort, Everts, Karlis Reisulis, Mikula and Grau in 10th.
Coenen making a little ground on Farres as the race moved into the 14th lap, but not close enough yet to make a fight for the lead. Langenfelder also catching the leader, if so slightly. Top ten was Farres, Coenen, Langenfelder, Janis Reisulis, McLellan, Everts, Walvoort, Karlis Reisulis, Mikula and Grau.
