Spaniard, Guillem Farres on the factory Triumph has won the opening MX2 moto with a near start to finish victory. Early leader, Sasha Coenen crashed in the first laps, handing the lead to Farres, who then never allowed the competition to get close enough to trouble him. Second was Mathis Valin and third Camden McLellan.

Guillem Farres: I was feeling alright, a bit nervous after yesterdays mistake. I was taking it easy, enjoying the pace. I am upset about yesterday, but we belong in this championship battle.
