Romain Febvre took his points lead to 16 with a win in the MXGP qualification race. Second was main rival, Lucas Coene and third was Ruben Fernandez.

Romain Febvre: Again, with the start, I almost pulled the holeshot and he (Coldenhoff) was on the outside and with the mud it was tricky, but I didn't want to get too close and I passed him on the downhill and I pulled a gap. Hopefully tomorrow we have two good starts like today and we see.
