HRC factory rider, Ruben Fernandez managed to put in two consistent scores, coming through the pack with some excellent passes and making it two CRF450Rs in the top five as he followed his teammate across the line in both races.

It was good to see the Spaniard finish strongly in both motos as that has been an issue throughout this year, so with that boost of confidence, he now wants to make the next step and add a few more points to be able to get back on the podium again.

Ruben Fernandez: It was a solid weekend, and I think fifth is a fair reflection of my speed compared with the other guys, but it was still good to have two consistent motos because it hasn’t been easy to put in two good scores in both races. Of course, I would like to be battling with those top guys, but I wasn’t able to get up there quickly enough. Still, my speed was good and it gives me a nice boost for the last two rounds where I will try my best to fight for the podium spots.
