Around a very tough Riola circuit and in searing heat, Monster Energy Yamaha rider, Tim Gajser is quickest in the MXGP qualification. The Slovenian legend will start on pole for this afternoon’s qualification race. Second quickest was Lucas Coenen and third quickest, Jeffrey Herlings.

Tim Gajser: I mean, I am super happy, I managed to improve the laps and that is important as you know the track gets rougher and rougher. We worked a lot in these last two weeks with the team and hopefully we can have some good races over the weekend.
