Monster Energy Yamaha factory rider, Tom Gajser has clocked the quickest lap time in the MX1 class in Mantova this morning. The Slovenian pipped his fellow five time world champion, Jeffrey Herlings, who was second quickest. Not much in it between the times of Gajser and Herlings, so we might see some fireworks this afternoon.

The top ten in the MX1 is impressive, with Jan Pancar again quick, followed by Alberto Forato, Tom Vialle, Andrea Adamo, Andrea Bonacorsi, Ruben Fernandez, Jago Geerts and Ivo Monticelli. Alex Piantanida image
