Goat In the Making - Video
In one of the most memorable nights in racing history, Jett Lawrence claimed his third consecutive 450 SuperMotocross World Championship title.
The 22-year old Australian star came into the Las Vegas finale with a 6 point lead over brother and teammate Hunter Lawrence in second and 15 points over Eli Tomac in third, facing yet another winner-take-all scenario to claim the million-dollar prize.
Some incredible racing ensued, with Jett, Hunter, and Eli all leading laps in the opening moto before Jett took the win ahead of Eli in second and Hunter in third.
The second and deciding moto was more of the same, with Hunter taking the eventual win after leading the majority of the race, while a few seconds back, Jett made a late race pass on Eli for second that would secure him the championship.
Congratulations to Jett on such a historic achievement. Another remarkable milestone in an already incredible career!
