Justyn Norek was at it again, sending us a load of amazing images from years gone. Having started following motocross in the early 1970s I find these images just mind blowing and I think anyone above 50, is loving them as well. Thank you so much Mr Norek for these brilliant images.
Again, just an nice e-mail, but a bunch of images and here is some of the images you see below, as written by Mr Norek. The images are not in any order, but check out if you can find the images Mr Norek has explained below.
1/. Beautiful original photo from 60's of CHENEY VICTOR BSA frame kit.. It's amazing but you still can buy it
as despite Ric Cheney has passed away few years ago, his son Simon Cheney still produce it from original
Jigs and to original specifications as this bike was raced in MX GP'S by John Banks and Bengt ABERG in
early 70ties, thus you can have fun building your own bike assambling it from components. Even engine can
built as all parts are manufactured from original tools. It's probably unique cas that MX bike is still made
Unchanged after more than half century ! ! !
You can contact Simon Cheney through "Cheney racing" that is on web...
2/. "PUKI" 25O motocross engine, see description below,
3/. CZ—BULTACO 380 is special with racing history, only one built,
4/. GREEVES—NSU 250, was built as an experiment by Greeves legendary works rider Brian Stonebridge
but not appreciated by Greeves' boss Mr Bert Greeves, so we are lucky that it still exist ! BEAUTIFULL !!!
5/. BULTACO Pursang 360, seems it has been special used by Harry Evers...
6/. MAICO 400, I have selected it hear becouse arguably. It's in my opinion one the most beautiful & harmonious
MX BIKES in the world. And one of the BEST, Swede ÀKE JONSSON declared this was THE MX BIKE HE EVER
RACED, and how we can do not believe him....
7/. So this is "PUKI" 250 MX bike engineered and build by Michelangelo Pochettino, once Italian importer of
CZtas. This bike was engineered and built by Pochettino but he never menage to find investors. He claims to to have all drawings and tooling, moldings necessary to manufacture bike. Hopefully one day all this will land in Museum ! Hope you will enjoy those "NEWS" from gone by era.
