HRC factory rider, Jeffrey Herlings has won his 125th GP victory of his career in Australia, with yet another 1-1 performance as the six time world champion continues to march onto 2027 with more than likely an extended contract with HRC and a lot of motivation to go for that seventh world championship. Romain Febvre ended his season with a 2-2 performance and Tom Vialle third overall with 3-4 results.

Jeffrey Herlings: I think the first time I won on this continent and anyway, a good weekend and a good way to finish the season. The track was high speed, but really pleased with my performance.

MXGP Moto Two

Vialle again with the holeshot ahead of Jonass, Adamo, Herlings, Febvre, Vlaanderen, Monticelli, Seewer, Walsh and Pancar. Herlings into second place as he passed both Adamo and Jonass and Adamo moved into third place. Febvre pushing hard to get past Adamo.

The lead by Vialle was 2.6 seconds over Herlings and Adamo was 4.5 back, and Febvre all over the backwheel of the Italian. Vialle gets 3.3 ahead of Herlings and Febvre into third place with a nice pass on Adamo. Herlings closing up on Vialle, as the gap was less than two seconds.

Herlings all over the back wheel of Vialle for the lead and the Dutchman not looking at giving anyone a chance as he goes for yet another GP victory. Top ten on lap eight was Vialle, Herlings, Febvre, Adamo, Jonass, Vlaanderen, Seewer, Geerts, Pancar and Walsh 10th.

With 10 minutes remaining, Vialle, Herlings and Febvre are getting closer and closer together and these three might be in for a fight for the moto and GP win. Vialle and Herlings really close and they nearly collide, before Herlings makes a beautiful pass to take the lead.

Febvre a late pass on Vialle after the Honda rider make a mistake. Herlings wins the moto and the GP. Febvre goes 2-2 for second overall and Vialle third with 3-4.
