Herlings and de Wolf - The Battle
The two talented Dutchmen, Jeffrey Herlings and Kay De Wolf deserved their standing ovation as the two sand specialists battled in the deep Arnhem sand. While everyone expected a Herlings victory, de Wolf reminded us where the future is, with the two fighting hard in front of the sell-out 30.000 Dutch spectators. Bavo Swijgers image
Jeffrey Herlings: A small technical thing, but it was a demanding race and I got the lead and nearly crashed and I felt blood in my mouth, maybe bit my tongue. I managed to pass Kay in the end and get the win.
