Herlings Takes Victory - UK
While five-time world motocross champion, Jeffrey Herlings went 1-1 at the latest round of the Motul British motocross championship, and continued his rich run of form, it was British Honda rider, Conrad Mewse who came out smiling the most.
Mewse, who scored 2-2 results behind the flying Dutchman, now has a handy points lead with the 450 British championship only two more rounds remaining.
The British boys will again take on Herlings today, which will be live streamed here on mxlarge, and then the final round to come.
The points lead by Mewse is 294 to 245 by second placed man, Adam Sterry. Third in the points is Josh Gilbert. On 211 points.
Tommy Searle stole the 250 overall with 43 points, followed by Oriol Oliver also on 43pts, then Joe Brookes 38pts, Ben Mustoe 38pts, and Charlie Heyman on 35pts.
In the championship, Searle is looking strong to add another British championship to his name, with 221pts, followed by Charlie Heyman 198pts and Ben Mustoe 188pts.
Overall: Jeffrey Herlings 50pts, Conrad Mewse 44pts, Adam Sterry 38pts, Josh Gilbert 38pts, Taylor Hammal 32pts, Brad Todd 30pts, John Adamson 27pts, Tom Grimshaw 27pts, Carlton Husband 23pts and in 10th place, Jed Etchells with 20pts.
