Herlings Wins - Belgium Lead
More drama as Jeffrey Herlings wins the MX2/Open moto to give The Netherlands a shot at victory, but Team France are out of it with Tom Vialle crashing early and DNFing the moto and Spains Francisco Garcia also DNFing. Belgium riders, Liam Everts and Sasha Coenen finished in fourth and seventh to put them at the top of the points and looking very solid with Everts and Lucas Coenen in the final race.

Jeffrey Herlings: Oh, man he (Vialle) had a massive crash, he scrubbed and I am so happy I missed his bike. I gave Glenn the good gate pick, but it was a very nice race and next up against Prado, Coenen and all the heavy hitters. Some countries have their joker to use in the final race, but I am here for the team.
Current team positions without the throwaway race is Belgium with 26 points, The Netherlands 33, Spain 47, Latvia 48, USA 55, Italy 57, Switzerland 65, Great Britain 73, South Africa 81 and France 90pts.
MX2/Open Moto
Vialle with the lead over Adamo and Herlings, then Jonass, Watson, Everts, Webb, Farres, Lopes, Valin, Seewer and Coenen. Vialle a huge crash that nearly took Herlings out, however the Dutchman led and Vialle out of the race, and France out of contention for the Chamberlain trophy.
Team Spain now the favourites, with Farres in fourth, and Garcia 13th spot. The Netherlands have Herlings leading, with Coldenhoff in 11th place, so the Dutch a little closer to Team Spain in the overall positions.
The Belgian riders were sixth and 10th, so they are putting themselves in a strong position. Team USA riders, Webb in seventh and Kitchen in 14th spot. Garcia out of the race and Spain now also struggling somewhat and probably The Netherlands in front.
Top ten on lap four was Herlings, Adamo, Jonass, Farres, Watson, Everts, Webb, Valin, Coenen and Coldenhoff. Everts all over Watson for fifth place and Coldenhoff two seconds behind Coenen, and if the Dutchman can catch and pass Coenen, that makes the overall team positions very interesting. Everts into fifth place and Coldenhoff all over Coenen and Valin not far ahead of those two.
Herlings lead over Adamo was 11 seconds, with Adamo four seconds ahead of Jonass and Farres two seconds behind the Latvian. Kitchen had dropped back to 16th position and Team USA while not out of contention for the overall, they need to improve a lot to be involved.
Webb moved into sixth with a pass on Watson, and Coldenhoff continued to chase Coenen, with Coenen passing Valin, who must be feeling it after not racing for many weeks. Coenen, Valin and Coldenhoff all rather close to Watson and Webb. Coldenhoff though lost a place to McLellan.
Coenen all over Watson to another point bonus for the overall positions. McLellan passed Valin and Coenen passed Watson Things really warming up for the overall positions. Watson again passed Coenen and Coldenhoff all over Valin and the Dutchman moved into 10th place.
Lap 11 it was Herlings with 21 seconds over Adamo, then Jonass, Farres, Everts, Webb, Watson, Coenen, McLellan, Valin and Coldenhoff. Coenen again passed Watson and McLellan also passed the British rider. Belgian riders now 5-7 in this moto.
Coldenhoff passes Valin and onto Watson. Everts moved past Farres and Team Belgium really becoming the favourites now. Coldenhoff into ninth place. Herlings wins the moto from Adamo and Jonass, and Belgium and The Netherlands fighting for the team overall, Spain also not out of it, but they need a big third moto from Garcia.
