In front of what turned into a huge crowd, Justin Hill put together a nice ride to win the opening 450 moto. After starting behind two Stark machines, the American moved into the lead mid-race and just took off.

Justin Hill: The last six months I learnt a lot and I learnt to trust my ability and in my team. Team Tedder is a nice collaboration, and we knew it would work out.

Again, Stark first and second with Friese and Zaragoza as Mitchell Harrison moved into second and Webb behind Tixier in fifth and Harrison into the Anderson down in the opening lap and last. Top ten was Harrison, Freise, Zaragoza, Wilson, Webb, Hill, Craig, Tixier, Moranz and Clout.

Harrison trying to get away from the field and the two Starks seemingly slowing everyone up as Webb and Hill battle the two silent machines. Hill into third and Webb into fourth as he passed Zaragoza.

Harrison well ahead of Friese, but Hill into second and Webb also passing Stark machines one at a time. Anderson passed Alessi for 15th place, but well out of it. Hill all over Harrison for the lead and Webb into third place as Hill take the lead. Hill, Harrison and Webb the top three.

Wilson passed Craig for fourth place and the top ten on the final lap was Hill, Harrison, Webb, Wilson, Craig, Friese, Tixier, Aranda, Politelli and Moranz. Anderson 13th. Webb into second and Wilson third, as Harrison quickly dropped to fourth in the final lap. A win for Hill though.
