HRC have dominated the time practice with Ruben Fernandez, Tom Vialle and Jeffrey Herlings finishing first, second and third in the session. Tim Gajser, who has won six times with Honda at Trentino, was well off the pace. Honda might own this place if this continues. 12 riders within a second of the time of Fernandez.

Ruben Fernandez: To be honest, I have been struggling, so many bumps and dry and it isn't easy, but we could turn it around and that gives me confidence going into the moto.

A very competitive MXGP time practice with a handful of riders looking very fast. Lucas Coenen, Tom Vialle, Andrea Adamo and Romain Febvre all topped the practice early as they all swapped position and times.

At one points Coenen dropped to fifth place and was making some small mistakes around this very tough circuit and nearly crashed early in the session. Febvre was very fast, leading the riders into the last 10 minutes of the session as Herlings drops a quick lap and takes pole to join the previously mentioned riders, all being on pole at one point or another.

Coenen dropped to 8th with seven minutes remaining but then did a best time to go to fourth quickest. Renaux then moved to second place and Gajser, the King of Trentino was back in 8th and not looking competitive at all on a circuit he has won on six times.

Every lap riders moving up and down the top 10 as Coenen dropped to ninth quickest and complained to his team in the mechanics area. Fernandez went top with four minutes remaining Vialle dropped to seventh quickest. De Wolf also struggling as he hung in 11th spot.

Vialle improved to second quickest behind his team-mate, Fernandez as HRC held first, second and fourth spots with a minute remaining. Are we now surprised Gajser owned this place on his Honda? Herlings moved into second as the timed session ended and it was HRC first, second and third on the session.
