Set to be a momentous occasion for the longest running offroad motorcycle race on the FIM calendar, the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations will return to Portugal, with the Alentejo region set to host the centenary event.

Portugal is a nation rich in Enduro culture and has hosted the 6DAYS® three times between 1999 and 2019. The Alentejo region has also held rounds of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship in recent years, and so, will provide a fitting base to test the world’s best Enduro competitors. Alentejo’s incredible Enduro trails will also ensure an unforgettable experience for the wealth of amateur and hobby riders competing.

As the FIM Race Director for the 6DAYS®, Pedro Mariano believes the one-hundredth edition in Portugal will be enjoyed by all. “The 6DAYS® in Portugal will be a good race for sure,” says Mariano. “It will be in a region that is well-supported for Enduro, has been tested many times, and is well-received by riders. The mixture of sandy and rocky terrain will be a great challenge and will enable us to create some incredible special tests and trails to ride.”

Jorge Viegas, FIM President is delighted that his home nation will host this incredible event: “The 2026 edition of the 6DAYS® will be a truly historic occasion, as we celebrate the one hundredth edition of this iconic event and the most prestigious off-road competition. It will also mark the fourth time that Portugal has the honour of hosting the 6DAYS®, this time in Grândola, following the memorable editions in Coimbra in 1999, Figueira da Foz in 2009, and Portimão in 2019. With more than six hundred riders expected to take part, we are confident that this milestone edition will be a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and outstanding work of the Federação de Motociclismo de Portugal (FMP), whose commitment continues to elevate our sport. This centenary celebration will be an unforgettable moment for fans and participants alike, uniting the international motorcycling community in a truly unique atmosphere worthy of this great tradition.”

The one-hundredth edition of the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations will take place in the Alentejo region, Portugal, from 12-17 October 2026.
