Arminas Jasikonis of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing has won both motos of the opening round of the Lithuanian Championship at Mickunai. For Jasikonis this was a special day because he hasn’t done a race in his home country for around ten years!

The track of Mickunai was well prepared and Jasikonis had a lot of fun on it. In temperatures around thirty degrees he won both motos. 

‘’I tried to give the spectators a good show. In the second moto I tried to lap everybody but after a few fast laps I came behind the back markers and decided to slow down a little bit. I had a good feeling on my Husqvarna FC450 and my pace was good. It was a nice day and I appreciate the chance that I could race in front of my home fans,’’ Arminas Jasikonis explains.

In the coming weeks Arminas will go back to the base in Belgium to prepare himself for the restart of the world championship MXGP.
