Jeffrey Herlings - The Gallery

With 201 GPs appearances to his name, 30-year-old Jeffrey Herlings, despite having a body that must resemble something of a jigsaw puzzle, with many pieces missing, continues to grow his Grand Prix victory tally.

For those lucky enough to have be there on April 25 on 2010, to witness his first Grand Prix victory, at the Valkenswaard circuit in Holland, and fortunate enough to also be there last weekend in Germany, when he picked up his 108th, you have a pretty good idea what a legend this man is.

Herlings took two stunning heat wins to wrap up that Grand Prix 15 years ago, at only 15 years and 225 days of age, one of the youngest ever to win a Grand Prix. Now, in his 31st year and maybe a year or two from calling it quits (although I think he can race until he is 35), the rider known as “The Bullet” heads to a circuit this weekend, where he has won on eight occasions (Kegums).

As a huge Jeffrey Herlings fan, since that day in Valkenswaard, even I wondered if he could once again come back. Surely his body had had enough, surely his mind is having questions as a new young teenager, Lucas Coenen started his own journey and was doing similar things that Herlings did many years ago.

In Germany last weekend, Herlings beat the 18-year-old kid, 12 years his junior and once again, captured time in a bottle and gave us motocross fans something to celebrate. 108 GP wins from 201 GPs attended, is just incredible stats.

Below is a very cool gallery from KTM photographer, Juan Pablo Acevedo, from the last couple of GPs. As always, JP didn't miss a thing and his photography continues to impress everyone in the GP paddock.
