It was a hectic week for Jett Lawrence. Monday brought the announcement of return home to Australia in November as part of the AUS-X Open race, Tuesday the practice crash that resulted in a broken thumb that ended his 450 MX title defense, Wednesday was spent traveling to Colorado for an appointment at the Steadman Clinic, Thursday was his first-ever surgery to repair the ligament damage, Friday was another flight but this time to Chicago, and Saturday was spent on the side of the track at the RedBud Motocross.

After the race was over, we got a few moments with the Team Honda HRC rider to discuss the incident, announcements for AUS-X and the Motocross of Nations, and what comes next for his summer.
