Jonass and Zanchi - Dutch Masters
Pauls Jonass has confirmed his participation in the 2025 Dutch Masters of Motocross competition. Jonass is a well-known and highly regarded rider on Dutch motocross tracks. In his younger years he was also racing the Dutch Championship under the guidance of Willem Hamstra and has now reached the absolute world elite.
Jonass rides for the official Kawasaki Racing Team and is the teammate of Romain Febvre. Febvre will also be competing in the Dutch Masters, and together they will be aiming for the title. Jonass has shown promising performances in the early-season races, and by the time the Dutch Masters of Motocross kicks off in Harfsen on March 30, he will be in top form.
The experienced Latvian rider won the Grand Prix of Portugal last year and was crowned MX2 World Champion in 2017. In the Dutch Masters, he will compete against top riders such as Jeffrey Herlings, Romain Febvre, Calvin Vlaanderen, Brent van Doninck, and national talents including Micha Boy de Waal, Sven van der Mierden, Boris Blanken, Marcel Conijn, and many others.
The field of riders keeps getting stronger, as in the 250cc class, we can now welcome the fast Italian Ferruccio Zanchi from the HRC Honda team. Zanchi is a great talent who certainly has what it takes to fight for top five positions in the MX2 World Championship and most likely for podium finishes as well.
At the Dutch Masters of Motocross, Zanchi will compete against Dutch top riders Rick Elzinga, Cas Valk, and Kay Karssemakers. It will be very interesting to see who will take the title over the three races.
