Ken Roczen - His Bike
Posted on June 10, 2021
Pretty cool video from VitalMX on the bike of Ken Roczen. They talk to Team Honda HRC Mechanic Jordan Troxell about the Honda CRF450R that Ken Roczen is riding this outdoor season. With three out of four moto wins so far, things are looking good for Big Red. This is the first Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season that Kenny is riding this version of the Honda CRF450R, since he sat out last year's nationals.
Since its 2002 introduction, the CRF450R has become the benchmark motocrosser, and together with its limited-edition CRF450RWE sibling, it’s the top-selling 450cc MX model in the U.S. Nonetheless, Honda didn’t rest on its laurels for the 2021 model year, endowing the legendary machine with important updates aimed at improving power, handling and consistency. As usual, this model draws lessons from Honda Racing Corporation’s global race program. A production version of the factory machine campaigned by two-time World Champion Tim Gajser to the 2021 MXGP crown, and the basis for the motorcycle that Team Honda HRC riders Ken Roczen and Chase Sexton campaign this season, the 2021 CRF450R represents a significant step up from what was already an extremely capable race machine.
2021 Honda CRF250R
The machine that took Chase Sexton to the 2020 AMA 250SX East Region crown and Kyle Peters to the 2020 AMA Arenacross title returns for the 2021 model year, with strong power across the rev range and a low-center-of-gravity chassis layout that delivers nimble, stable handling. The CRF250R is the platform campaigned this year by Team Honda HRC riders Hunter and Jett Lawrence.
