Team Germany rider Ken Roczen and former MX2 and AMA champion had a disappointing performance on his comeback to the AMA Nationals recently and he mentioned on his social media pages what the problem was.

"The good news is," Roczen said. "I still know how to ride a dirt bike. The bad news is not for long. I am having some difficulties with my energy system at the moment and I knew that going into last weekend but by no means did I want to pull out and sit on the couch. Nothing I haven’t dealt with before and I will get it under control. I did not feel too hot even going into Unadilla but luckily I could manage as it was not hot there. Who knows I may be coming back some time in the future for a little redemption in the 250 class. I have already started working on myself as we know how and what to do and I am confident it’s all uphill from here. Thanks to everyone that made this happen it was awesome to see people come together and work themselves to the bones for me."

The German legend will line up for Team Germany at the 2024 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations and lets hope we get a fully fit Roczen, as he has shown in the past, he can still run with the best 450 riders in the World. Cooler temperatures in England in October and an open circuit, will hopefully help the veteran when the going gets hot.
