Lata Wins Saturday - MX2
HRC factory rider Valerio Lata was won the MX2 qualification race after leading on the first lap and controlling the race from the front. Second was Sasha Coenen on the Red Bull KTM factory bike and third another KTM factory rider, Andrea Adamo. The big story was a mid-race crash from defending World MX2 champion, Kay De Wolf, who was running around the top five and dropped outside the points and finished in 15th position and zero points.
Championship points are now Simon Längenfelder 431 points, Andrea Adamo 421pts and Kay de Wolf 399pts. Some 32 points off the red plate man, Langenfelder.

MX2 Qualification Race
Lata led the MX2 qualifier from Coenen, Langenfelder, Adamo, Oliver, Valk, Valin, Farres, de Wolf and Braceras. Benistant 15th and Everts 11th. De Wolf quickly into sixth and Everts 10th. Lata quickly made a gap. Valk worked his way past De Wolf in a nice move and de Wolf dropped to seventh and Everts ninth.
Lap one it was Lata with a 3.2 second lead over Coenen, with Adamo 5.3 seconds off the leader, then Valin, Langenfelder, de Wolf, Oliver, Farres, Everts and Valk. Lap two and the lead was 4.3 seconds with Adamo 7.3 back. The Honda riders really showing some nice speed.
De Wolf and Langenfelder is a great battle for fifth place as the crowd were getting involved, with air horns and screaming. Lap four and the lead was 4.1 seconds between Lata and Coenen, with Adamo nearly 10 seconds back in third.
De Wolf a mistake as he dropped down the field and struggled to get going again, the Dutchman dropping back to 15th position and again a fight to get some points, while the two points leaders, Langenfelder and Adamo held fifth and third positions.
Lap eight and it was Lata with a 4.4 second lead over Coenen, then Adamo, Valin, Langenfelder, Farres, Oliver, Everts, Valk, McLellan 10th. De Wolf still 15th and struggling somewhat. Langenfelder moved past Valin for fourth position and seven points. Lata wins it from Coenen and Adamo.
