Aussie Jett Lawrence showed why he might be the fastest man on the planet with a comeback victory at the opening round of the SMX championship. The HRC man beat home AMA legend Eli Tomac and AMA motocross champion, Chase Sexton. In the 250 class it was American sensation, Haiden Deegan who put a lot of hurt on his opposition. Round one done and round two next weekend.

Incredible result from Lawrence, who had been out for months, but straight away showed he is back and while it was Eli Tomac who won the first race of the day, the multiple AMA champion (Lawrence) went 2-1-3 for victory with Tomac going 1-2-3 and third place man, Sexton going 4-3-7.

In the 250 class Deegen went 1-1-2-, then Julien Beaumer 2-4-6 and third Levi Kitchen, 5-2-7.
