HRC factory rider Jett Lawrence once again showed he is the man to beat in the 450 class at the Hangtown with 3-1 finishes, with Aaron Plessinger finishing with 2-3 for second overall and Justin Cooper finished 4-2 for third overall.

Eli Tomac won moto one, but started the second moto with a last place start and while he climbed to top five, then crashed again to finish ninth. A problem the veteran might have to fix if he wants to be in the same ball-park as the young Aussie.

Championship points are now Lawrence 95, Plessinger 79, Tomac 78, Cooper 76, Hunter Lawrence 73. Who takes up the challenge to Jett Lawrence in round three?

In the 250 class, it was again Haiden Deegan with two moto wins, with HRC rider Jo Shimoda again scoring second overall with 2-2 results and third was Levi Kitchen landed third overall with 3-3.

Championship points in the 250 class are now Deegan 100, Shimoda 88, Julien Beaumer 67, Garreth Marchbanks 65, Kitchen 52 and two time MX2 champion, Tom Vialle 52. Hard to see anyone matching Deegan in this class.
