COOPER WEBB: (4-2-3) Nailed his 31st 450SX Class win (8th all-time) & 1st of the season with 4-2-3 results. The unconventional score for an overall victory is the 4th time in 450SX Class history the overall winner failed to win a moto (Webb also did it at A2 2024). He secured his 50th SMX League* win becoming the 13th SMX League athlete to hit that benchmark. It was his 6th Triple Crown win which is good for 2nd all-time. Webb ties Jeremy McGrath for 5th on Yamaha’s all-time SMX League wins list & ties Broc Glover for 8th on Yamaha’s 450SX Class wins list. It was the 2nd time Yamaha has swept a Triple Crown, the other also being Webb and Deegan last year at Arlington.

HUNTER LAWRENCE: (7-1-2) Clinched his 5th 450SX Class podium, just missing his 1st victory with 7-1-2 scores. It was his 3rd podium in-a-row, 70th SMX League podium (31st all-time), & 95th SMX League top-5 finish. Lawrence is only 4 points behind Tomac for the Championship lead.150th career 450SX Class start.

KEN ROCZEN: (1-5-4) In the first leg of the Triple Crown, Roczen secured his 8th Triple Crown race win (3rd all-time). Just missing the victory, Roczen held on for his 79th 450SX Class podium (7th all-time), & 166th SMX League podium (6th all-time).

NOTES: Eli Tomac (4th, 3-13-1): Grabbed his 19th career Triple Crown race win, nearly 1/3rd of all Triple Crown races. It was his 135th 450SX Class top-5 finish, good for 4th all-time. Chase Sexton (5th, 2-9-6): Seeking his 150th career SMX League top-5 finish in Glendale. Jason Anderson (6th, 6-7-5): Ties Heath Voss for 13th on the all-time 450SX Class starts list with 165. Malcolm Stewart (8th, 8-6-10): 125th career 450SX Class start, only one away from 25th all-time. He also nailed his 150th career SMX League top-10 finish, good for a 61% career top-10 percentage (150/246). Cade Clason (22nd, 22-22-22): Made his 1st Main Event of the season, 65th of his 450SX Class career (85th all-time), & 100th of his SMX League career.

SUN DEVIL STADIUM: The first 450SX Class round in Arizona was on May 10, 1986, in Tempe’s Sun Devil Stadium and was the penultimate round of the season. Rick Johnson (Honda) won, clinching his first 450SX Class title. In 1987, Jeff Ward won in Tempe missing a clinch by only two points. He sealed the deal over Johnson in the L.A. finale, however. Sun Devil Stadium hosted three more rounds in 1991, 1997, and 1998.

CHASE FIELD: Phoenix picked up the Arizona SX baton with Chase Field and became a mainstay, holding a round for 17 years in a row (1999-2015). Only 9 450SX Class venues held Supercross for more consecutive seasons than Chase Field did. Jeremy McGrath won the inaugural SX held at Chase Field en-route to his 6th Championship. In the last Chase Field SX in 2015, Cooper Webb (250SX) and Eli Tomac (450SX) earned their first career victories in their respective classes. They continue to be Championship rivals a full decade later in the 450SX Class.

STATE FARM STADIUM: State Farm Stadium (Glendale) was built in 2006 and is home to the Arizona Cardinals. Supercross made its first voyage to Glendale in 2016, and Ken Roczen (Suzuki) stole the show. Supercross returned every season since, sans 2021. Arizona hosted 5 rounds in Tempe, 17 in Phoenix, & 9 in Glendale. 2026 will be the 32nd 450SX Class round held in Arizona and the 10th for State Farm Stadium.

WINNER’S CURSE: 2022 Eli Tomac is the only athlete to win at State Farm Stadium and double as 450SX Class Champ in the same season. Glendale’s winner failed to win the title the other 8 seasons, including Chase Sexton’s 2025 Triple Crown win. When combining Sun Devil Stadium & Chase Field’s Championship %, Arizona Supercross winners are 14/31 (45%) in winning the title.

HAIDEN DEEGAN: (1-1-1) Scored his 10th 250SX Class victory, tying Ryan Dungey and others for 19th all-time. His 28th SMX League* victory ties him with Kent Howerton for 25th all-time & his 20th 250SX Class podium ties him inside the top-20 all-time. Just like Webb did, Deegan ties McGrath for 5th on Yamaha’s all-time SMX League wins list with 28. The defending Champion and current points leader is only one win away from tying Webb for 2nd on Yamaha’s all-time 250SX Class wins list & 2 wins away from tying Ernesto Fonseca’s record.

LEVI KITCHEN: (2-2-3) Consistent for 1st podium of season after a season changing 21st place at Anaheim 2. It was the 13th podium of his 250SX Class career (28 starts) & 28th of SMX League career (83 starts). He was also able to nab his 40th career SMX League top-5 finish.

CAMERON MCADOO: (3-3-4) Captures his 25th career 250SX Class podium, passing Martin Davalos and Stephane Roncada for 5th all-time. He is only one podium behind RJ Hampshire & Shane McElrath for 3rd all-time & only 5 podium behind Nathan Ramsey for the all-time record. He is also creeping up the all-time starts list with his 56th, pulling into a tie with Travis Preston for 27th al-time.

NOTES: Max Vohland (4th, 5-4-6): 9th 250SX Class top-5 finish of career & 15th SMX League top-5 finish of career. Ryder DiFrancesco (5th, 6-5-5): Clinched another top-5 finish, the 3rd of his young season and 5th of his 250SX Class career. Josh Varize (11th, 13-12-11): 80th career SMX League start (37th in 250SX Class). Justin Rodbell (17th, 18-16-13): 70th career SMX League start. Keegan Rowley (21st, 19-22-19): 1st career 250SX Class start (3rd SMX League start).

SUN DEVIL STADIUM: The first 250SX Class round in Arizona was on May 10, 1986, in Sun Devil Stadium and was the penultimate round of the Western Divisional Championship. Willie Surratt (Honda) won Arizona and the finale in L.A. but fell short of Donny Schmit (Kawasaki) for the title. Schmit had an injury-filled 1987 title defense but did win in Sun Devil Stadium that season. David Vuillemin (Yamaha) won the final 250SX Class round at Sun Devil Stadium in 1998. Jeff Emig (1991) & Kevin Windham (1997) won the other two Sun Devil Stadium rounds, with Windham being the only of the 5 to double as Western Divisional Champion that same season.

CHASE FIELD: The 250SX Class holds the same venue history as the 450SX Class in Arizona. Nathan Ramsey won the first 250SX Class Supercross at Chase Field and won it again in 2006, 7 seasons after his 1999 victory. It’s the longest a 250SX Class athlete has gone between winning at any specific venue. Webb won the final 250SX Class round at Chase Field in 2015, the first win of his career and of his first Western Divisional Championship run.

STATE FARM STADIUM: Christian Craig (Honda) won the first 250SX Class round at State Farm Stadium in 2016, the first win of his career. Jordon Smith earned a historic victory in the Triple Crown last season with his overall win, as it was Triumph’s first ever SMX League victory. 2026 marks the 10th 250SX Class round in State Farm Stadium and 32nd in Arizona.

CHAMPIONSHIP %: The winner of the Glendale 250SX Class round has won the Western Divisional title in 4/9 (44%) seasons. The overall combining all Arizona 250SX Class venues is 13/31 (42%). The Lawrence brothers won in ’22-’23, each winning the Western Divisional that season. Hampshire also pulled it off in ’24, but Smith broke the streak as he fell short of the Championship.
