Legends Meet - EICMA
For a little more fun, down at the Milan held EICMA show, they have a bunch of legends from many different disciplines going head to head. The EICMA will take place this year from 5 November 10, 2024, as always Milan Rho-Fiera and celebrates its 110th anniversary.
Every day, from 1:45 PM to 3:00 PM, track and off-road legends will battle in the elimination chase races. The lineup will include Motocross legends in Stefan Everts and Alex Puzar, former World 125cc champion, Christophe Pourcel, up against some of the best road racers of all time in, Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss, Loris Capirossi along with many others such as Danilo Petrucci, Randy Mamola, Carlos Checa, Marco Melandri, and Jonathan Rea.
Also at the EICMA show this year will be AMA legend, Ricky Carmichael. Triumph’s investment in motocross sector gives birth to the TF 450-RC Edition, where ‘RC’ stands for Ricky Carmichael, one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rider in the history of American motocross as well as official developer for the Hinckley-based manufacturer.
There are many components in common with the smaller TF 250-X: from the Brembo braking system to the Galfer brake discs and the hand-welded aluminium double-cradle frame. The TF 450-RC’s single-cylinder, SOHC 450cc engine is built for racing, delivering robust power while minimizing weight giving a power-to-weight ratio that leads the class.
As concerns the chassis, the bike features KYB 48mm separate cartridge suspension with 310mm of travel and KYB three-way monoshock with 305mm of travel. Also standard on the bike are the Akrapovic exhaust with dedicated mapping, the Xtrig Holeshot device and ODI RC4 Signature handlebars. The colour design prominently incorporates Triumph’s Performance Yellow with black and white accents. It also includes RC’s iconic n. 4, GOAT logo and key sponsor details.

I know it isn’t a motocross bike, but the all new Scrambler is just stunning. Ducati has updated, with mainly stylistic changes, two new models for the Ducati Scrambler family: the Icon Dark and the Full Throttle. The Scrambler Icon Dark 2025 features a minimalist design, doing away with bright colours, including the classic Borgo Panigale red.
The Scrambler Full Throttle 2025 remains the sportiest option, inspired by US Flat Track competitions. Once again the Full Throttle model includes side number plates with the n. 62, a reference to the year the first Ducati Scrambler debuted (1962). The bike features a charming heritage livery in black and bronze, colours echoed by the aluminium wheels. Black finishes are applied to the exhaust and front covers. The seat is upholstered to emphasise the sporty character, while the lowered handlebars, short mudguard and sporty tail complete the aesthetic update.
