Two young Indonesian men will take the challenge of the FIM Motocross World Championship of 2024, taking place at the Selaparang circuit, Mataram, in Indonesia this weekend, as PT Astra Honda Motor rider Delvintor Alfarizi and his younger brother, Arsenio Algifari are ready to give their best for Indonesia and all the locals that will cheer them on.

Delvintor Alfarizi: It feels great to be able to return to the Grand Prix in my own country after racing in Europe for two and a half months. My finger is getting better, although it is not 100% recovered. However, we will fight all weekend in front of the supporters.

Delvintor's, who was injured earlier in the year, but has recovered well from the injuries will be looking for Grand Prix points this weekend with the rider numbers down in MX2, as is often case at the fly-away races.

Meanwhile, his younger brother, Arsenio, competed as a wildcard and has his own enthusiasm for his debut in the World motocross championships. Both will compete in the MX2 class and no doubt, it will be a tough challenge for the two local riders as the best 250 riders line up in what is a sensational MX2 class of 2024.

Adel, (Delvintor's nickname), together with the JM Racing Astra Honda team, had a good record last year in Lombok. At that time, he recorded points in both races, finishing in 17th and 16th positions respectively.

After seven rounds in Europe, Adel will be in action for the first time on a track in Asia this season. He is in a good condition to have some success this weekend, despite being plagued by an injury to his left ring finger. Shortly before flying to Indonesia, Adel recorded a good performance in Italy, before finally feeling discomfort in his finger as a result of the injury.
