Next weekend will be the Grand Prix of Portugal, and going by these images sent to us from Greg Atkins, everything is coming into place. After a lot of rain, and rain expected this week, the track still looks in pretty good shape. Greg Atkins who is working on the track has said it is pretty much perfect at the moment. 

Atkins also mentioned that the circuit has a very good drainage system and there are no big puddles or lakes on the track, as some motocross websites have mentioned.

Some rumors have started that the event is in danger of being cancelled, which are totally not true, as sunshine is expected throughout the week and also on the weekend. We will have an interview with Atkins later today.
