The 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship lines up for round seven on the most western stop in Europe, the MXGP of Portugal, as the Crossodromo Internacional de Águeda plays host to its 26th Motocross Grand Prix event in the 40th anniversary year of its very first in 1985!

Last year’s event was a very muddy affair that saw a dominant double win for Liam Everts in MX2, with Pauls Jonass scoring second in both MXGP races to claim his first overall victory in the class! MXGP race winners from last year were Tim Gajser and Jeffrey Herlings, and Tim currently leads the standings by 27 points over Romain Febvre, who has finished second at each of the last two Águeda GPs. He will look to close in on Gajser who sustained a shoulder injury in Switzerland and has made a late announcemxent that he will not be riding in Portugal.

Lucas Coenen, the dominant victor in Switzerland to become the youngest MXGP winner since the class’ inception, will be keen to step up to the challenge of trying to chase down the points lead as well!

The leading four in MX2 are separated by just 30 points, and a double victory at the last round saw Simon Laengenfelder close to within just three of series leader and defending Champion Kay de Wolf, while Andrea Adamo and Everts are still very much in striking distance.

To ensure Portuguese fans won’t miss a moment of the Live Action, Sport TV Portugal will broadcast the four races live on Sunday (MXGP & MX2).

Below you can find the full list of TV channels that will air LIVE and delayed action of the MXGP of Portugal, as well as the 26-minute Behind The Gate magazine show featuring the best moments from the races, exclusive interviews and more. All of this footage will be available on MXGP-TV.com and via our TV magazine partners following the Grand Prix.

As always, MXGP fans can follow the races LIVE throughout the weekend. All you need to do is log onto www.MXGP-TV.com on Saturday and Monday, from wherever you are in the world. Every round this season will also feature live screening of Saturday’s Time Practice sessions, for those who want to see all of the action from near the Atlantic coast! Come and join us for the racing!
