n just a matter of days the city of Crawfordsville will transform into “MOTOVILLE” as the racing world descends on Montgomery County for the 78th running of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN), as the world’s most prestigious motocross race makes its sixth visit to the United States this weekend, October 3-5, from Ironman Raceway.

Before the international contingent of the fastest athletes on the planet take to the track, festivities will kick off with the high energy Monster Energy FIM Nucor Indiana Grand Parade in Downtown Crawfordsville this Friday, October 3, which will bring the MXoN into the heart of the city, where residents partaking in the annual fall tradition of Crawfordsville Oktoberfest will be joined by thousands of race fans from around the world.

This celebrated tradition of the MXoN serves as the event’s official start to the action-packed weekend as the star-studded three-rider lineups for each of the 38 competing nations will be introduced with public fanfare and will air live, exclusively on RacerTV. Following the parade, MOTOVILLE OKTOBERFEST will take over as the official after party with fun and entertainment for all attendees.

A total of 114 racers will contest the 2025 MXoN, led by the host nation U.S. Motocross Team and its revamped lineup of Haiden Deegan, RJ Hampshire, and Eli Tomac, in addition to defending champion Australia, featuring Hunter Lawrence, Jett Lawrence, and Kyle Webster. A total of 36 different countries and a pair of international delegations will make up the MXoN field, which will include no shortage of international superstars like Antonio Cairoli (Italy), Lucas Coenen (Belgium), Kay de Wolf (Netherlands), Romain Febvre (France), Tim Gajser (Slovenia), Ken Roczen (Germany), Jo Shimoda (Japan), and others.

These athletes will join their compatriots when each nation takes a lap around Crawfordsville Main Street during the Nucor Indiana Grand Parade, where they will be greeted by a passionate gathering of locals, neighbors, and travelers from abroad. The Grand Parade will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET and will be presented by Crawfordsville-based Nucor Indiana, the state division of North America’s largest steel manufacturer and recycler.

“Crawfordsville is ready!” exclaimed Crawfordsville Mayor Todd Barton. “We’ve been planning and preparing for more than a year, and we look forward to welcoming the world to our community for a high-energy, fun-filled MXoN environment like none other. We promise, this will be epic!”

Following the Grand Parade, MOTOVILLE OKTOBERFEST will continue with the official after party at Pike Place Park in Downtown Crawfordsville, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET with food, flavors, and fun. An impressive list of more than a dozen local eateries will provide something for everyone, while live music performances, a variety of 17+ vendors, including event merchandise, and exciting entertainment demos from the Wheelie Wizzard and the Monster Energy Stunt Show will provide a moto twist to Crawfordsville’s annual Oktoberfest celebration.

Anyone planning on joining the festivities for the weekend is encouraged to download the Visit Montgomery County IN mobile app, the official app of MXon USA. Ticket purchasers for the MXoN will be able to get all the information needed to get the most out of their time in Crawfordsville and while at the race, including an ability to plan out their trip to the MXoN.

A notable inclusion in the Visit Montgomery County app are details for the MXoN Event Shuttle service. The City of Crawfordsville is proud to offer a free shuttle service for fans, which will provide convenient transportation between key locations in Crawfordsville and Ironman Raceway. The shuttle loop will include stops at Ironman Raceway, Walmart, Crawfordsville Square, and Downtown Crawfordsville.
