NZ SX - Media Day
International Supercross superstars joined New Zealand and Australia's leading riders at North Harbour Stadium today (Friday 30 October), for the official media call and first look at the track ahead of this weekend's Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship Auckland round.
The media opportunity provided a first look at the purpose-built Supercross track as North Harbour Stadium prepares to host some of the world's best riders for a spectacular night of racing tomorrow, Saturday 31 October, with a crowd of up to 20,000 fans expected to attend. Limited tickets are still available at www.ausxsupercross.com.au
Headlining today's media activities was reigning 2026 AMA 450 Supercross Champion Ken Roczen (Germany), alongside fellow international stars Christian Craig (USA), the current AUSX SX1 Championship leader, Max Anstie (Great Britain), Cedric Soubeyras (France).
New Zealand's own Cole Davies, the reigning 2026 AMA 250SX East Champion, was joined by fellow Kiwi Brodie Connolly, who leads the SX2 Championship in Auckland after claiming victory at the Townsville season opener earlier this month. Both riders will look to impress their home crowd at North Harbour Stadium tomorrow.
They were joined by leading Australian riders including reigning Australian ProMX MX1 Champion Jed Beaton, former Australian Supercross Champion Luke Clout, Aaron Tanti and Matt Moss, among others.
Today's media call provided opportunities to capture riders on track, interviews and behind-the-scenes vision as the stadium prepares for the second round of the 2026 championship.
