Paris Supercross - Tickets

Posted on November 22, 2021

On the side of the American federation, the number "22" is kept religiously for Chad REED and on the side of the international federation, the number "222" will never be assigned again (to someone other than Antonio CAIROLI), now that "Tony" ran his last GP, yesterday in Mantova.

At the level of their track record and their stats, these "2" absolute legends, with fate irretrievably linked to the number "2", definitely make the pair! However, as incredible as it may seem, apart from three MXDN, these "2" there have never found themselves behind a starting grid ... A gap that will be filled, to the delight of connoisseurs, on November 27, in Paris La Défense Arena!

To realize the privilege that will be reserved for us in Paris La Défense Arena, there is nothing like diving back into the stratospheric stats of the two champions…

Antonio CAIROLI is nine times World champion, including seven times in the top class (absolute record holder), including six times consecutively (also a record), including four times riding a 350 (unprecedented) ... Since the beginning of his career in 2004, the Sicilian has raced 278 GP and scored the trifle of 10708 points (!). He has won 94 GP (including Arco 2 two weeks ago) and has reached the podium 179 times (including last Sunday in Mantova). He won 182 heats and climbed to 355 podiums of heats. He clocked 93 pole-positions. In the Nations, he won three times in individual and once (this season) in the overall with Italy. Incidentally, he also won two European Supercross titles. "AC222" is at the top of the world charts, in the exclusive company of Stefan EVERTS.

For his part, Chad REED is considered the 4th most beautiful SX world record holder, with his 44 wins and three titles. He is also (by far) the record holder for the number of podiums achieved (132) and finals contested (265). He also won one title and eleven races in MX outdoor, one GP and one King of Paris title.

When these two sacred monsters jointly enter the track of the 38th Paris Supercross, they will write a new page in the thick book of historical moments of the great Parisian classic. And the public, as it should be, will take their hats off to them!
