Paris SX - Two Weeks To Go
The Paris Supercross is synonymous with the presence of the biggest stars of SX such as the Jett brothers and Hunter Lawrence, Cooper Webb Tom Vialle or Malcolm Stewart and in two weeks time, these riders will battle the elements that this famous race always bring.
Indeed, this formidable Arena, which last year was transformed into an Olympic swimming pool to serve as a showcase for Léon Marchand's unforgettable exploits, has been home since its inauguration in 2017 to a real Supercross track in US format, allowing the best specialists in the world to express all their riding science and an audience of enthusiasts to cheer them all the louder as they can only see them live once a year on this side of the Atlantic.

Every year, the plotter Cédric Lucas, who designs it, and JLFO (Jean-Luc Fouchet Organisation), the promoter of the famous SX Tour, who is responsible for its construction, offer us a new track, designed to be both spectacular and encourage neck-to-neck battles.
"The start is always a highlight in Supercross and in Paris we are lucky enough to be able to exploit a good length of room, a start of almost 100m long, where the aces of the trigger and the clutch can show their know-how and where the machines can express their power-to-traction ratio", explains Jean-Luc Fouchet, with his almost 40 tracks at the SX in Paris.
"Since we've been at the Arena, we also obviously have these six track widths that allow us to really vary the pleasures: in addition to the one at the start, Cédric has concocted two straight lines of rhythm sections, one of whoops, a sequence on the big Freestyle landing bump and one on the finish jump. It's classic but tried and tested and as we are lucky enough to have the best gravel of the season at this event, everyone will still enjoy it, riders and spectators alike," adds the French SX guru.

"Jean-Luc is right to insist on the quality of the gravel because when you work with "soft-hard" like in Paris, which digs ruts "just right", you can really design a route that allows a gifted technique like Jett Lawrence, as well as a master of the inside trajectory like Cooper Webb, to express the magic of their riding, which has allowed them to win all these SX titles in America," adds Cédric Lucas.
"One of the strongest sectors will certainly be the sequence of "finish jump – 180° turn – series of whoops – new 180° turn – return to the starting line, in the opposite direction and in curves – sand turn". We know that 180° turns are the best for overtaking. There will be four of them on this 2025 track, including two on this section, including a left turn just after the whoops, which is ideal for block passes! There will therefore be a lot of action in perspective, right in the middle of the track, so at an equal distance from all the spectators. The sand section will also be 180° on the left and much longer than last year, again there will be a lot of unexpected things happening. There will also be aerial technical sequences along each stand. I think this track will really please the public! ", concludes the Bobcat artist...
