Four-time world motocross champion, Jorge Prado has clocked the quickest time for the MXGP class free practice, with a time of 1.48.878. The Spaniard, who won the SMX world championship last week, continued to get faster as the session got longer and he was clearly the fastest guy on the track.

He did come under fire late from two-time world champion, Romain Febvre of Team France, with the local hero putting together quick laps late in the session, while Jan Pancar and Lucas Coenen also put in blazing fast times.

Also showing good speed was Dutchman, Roan Van De Moosdijk, with his consistently inside the top five times, while Team Australia rider, Jed Beaton and Team USA rider, Julien Beaumer well inside the top ten and both might surprise in this afternoons MXGP qualification race.
