Prado wins in Sweden - Saturday

Red Bull KTM Factory rider Jorge Prado has won the Saturday qualification race for the MX2 class with a consistent performance at the Uddevalla circuit. After a slow start the Spanish teenagers worked his way into first and controlled the race from the front, eventually winning from Henry Jacobi and Adam Sterry.

Sterry led the MX2 qualification race from Prado, Jacobi, Vlaanderen, Sanayei, Moreau, Boisrame, Olsen, Vialle, and Horgmo in 10th. After two laps Prado took the lead and held a two second gap on Sterry, with Jacobi third, Vlaanderen fourth and Sanayei fifth.

The lead went to four seconds on lap four, and Olsen crashed on that same lap, and dropped well back in the field. Jacobi was catching Sterry as the two Kawasaki riders, and Olsen crashed again and went back to 23rd place. Some guys who struggled were Harrison in 20th, Evans in 17th, and pole sitting Renaux in 14th.

On lap nine Prado held a five second lead and Sterry got into a bit of trouble as both Jacobi and Vlaanderen went past and Sanayei was still in fifth.

Jorge Prado: It was another great qualification race. I had a good start but the guy next to me had a good start and I was in around fifth and I passed to get the lead. So many ruts and I made a mistake in one lap, but I want to bring this game for tomorrow.
