In front of a very good crowd, Joey Savatgy has won the opening race for the SX1 class after a good start and moving into the lead early. Second was Jason Anderson and third Christian Craig, which makes the championship points very close between the three.

Joey Savatgy: Track is tricky and you want to push, but the harder you push the worse it is. We had some decent lines and were able to get around him. Its going to be tough in the other heats, but we got off to a good start.

Anderson led the first SX1 race from Savatgy and Craig back in fourth place. Miller in third, and Anderson and Savatgy fighting hard, with Savatgy into the lead. Anderson a little wild to try and get the lead back but too out of shape and remained in second.

Savatgy getting away from Anderson with Craig moving into third place. Then came Miller, Nichols, Breece, Clout, Valentin, Tixier, Politelli and Aranda. Tixier a mistake and back in last with Friese in 13th place. Savatgy wins it from Anderson and Craig.
