There is no doubt, Team USA must be worried as their team captain, Chase Sexton goes for x-rays today to find out what the extent is of his hand injury. Team manager Ian Harrison mentioned about the crash and injury.

“Chase will not being racing the final race, he got landed on and hurt his hand. We will need x-rays to found out the extent of the injury. It is just disappointing to race 31 races this year and not be able to finish this one, but the most important thing is Chases health."

The question is now, who goes for Team USA if Sexton is out. Possibly Justin Cooper, who has had a brilliant season, or will Haiden Deegan make a change of plans and ride for his country? Whatever the case, it seems like bad news for the AMA 450 motocross champion and Team USA.
