Today we see the opening round of the SMX play-offs and while for me, these races are not really that exciting, with the main championships being the MXGP and MX2 titles and of course the AMA SX and MX titles. But hey, any racing is better than no racing, so like WSX lets enjoy it for what it is. As somebody who loves traditional championships, I just cannot get too excited for the SMX.

Then again, the final rounds of the MXGP championship, with Jeffrey Herlings already champion and limited gates due to injuries to Lucas Coenen, Tim Gajser, Maxim Renaux and many more don't make China and Australia what is could be. I guess its the time of the season, where we just start looking forward to 2027, or maybe some off-season races.

Unfortunately, the wrist injury to Hunter Lawrence, that might slow his progress, we still get to see Jorge Prado, Eli Tomac, Ken Roczen, Cooper Webb and many more. Below is the schedule and we will, as always have race reports, highlights and press conferences on Sunday morning.
