In the sold-out Westfalenhalle, the next preliminary decisions of the winter season were made on Saturday evening at the 41st ADAC Supercross Dortmund. In SX1, Cédric Soubeyras clinched overall victory in the ADAC SX Cup for the first time with a controlled finale, while Gregory Aranda took the day's victory after a strong fightback. The cards were also reshuffled in the other classes - with title decisions, dominant performances and stories that shaped the "Night of the Fans".

Cédric Soubeyras (Luke's Racing) has done it: With a controlled third place in Saturday's final, the Frenchman secured overall victory in the ADAC SX Cup for the first time in his career. In the championship standings, the 20 points of the evening were enough for him to make the title perfect with a total of 81 points. "I've won so many titles in France, now I've finally achieved my first victory in a German series," said a visibly relieved Soubeyras. "That's what I've been missing, I've been waiting for it for so long. I had no pressure in the race. I had to keep an eye on Luke and then I was able to control my race."

The race itself was hard to beat in terms of drama. While Maxime Desprey (Sturm Racing Team) won the holeshot and led the field for a long time, Gregory Aranda (Sturm Racing Team) first had to start a catch-up race after dropping back to fifth place in the starting phase. On lap four, Aranda benefited from problems with Matt Moss, conceded Luke Clout just one lap later and moved up to the chasing position. On lap 15, Aranda finally took advantage of a mistake by Desprey, took the lead and crossed the finish line as the winner after 18 laps. Desprey rescued second place, 3.609 seconds behind.

In the prestigious event ranking "King of Dortmund", which will not be finally decided until Sunday, the tension is at the boiling point. After two of three days, teammates Gregory Aranda and Maxime Desprey are tied at the top with 47 points each. Both were able to record a stage victory and a second place each. Jordi Tixier (KMP-Honda-Racing powered by DVAG) follows in third place with 38 points, followed by Soubeyras with 36 points. The best German in the race was once again Maximilian Spies (Becker Racing), who after a solid seventh place in the race now also occupies seventh place in the Dortmund classification with 28 points.

Calvin Fonvieille (KTM Sarholz Racing Team) proved his extra class in the Westfalenhalle and secured the overall victory in the ADAC SX Cup on Saturday evening. The Frenchman, who has been competing in Dortmund for eight years, controlled the final over 15 laps from the front and thus celebrated his second title in the prestigious winter series after 2025.

"What an emotional weekend," said Fonvieille, visibly moved after his triumph. "After I was able to win yesterday, it worked out again today - I defended my title from last year. Last year, the overall victory was still a surprise for me, this time it was my clear goal. I'm just overjoyed."

Behind the old and new champions, Mickael Lamarque (VisuAlz Production) secured second place, 3.948 seconds behind. The remaining podium place went to the American Gage Linville (Kawasaki Motul Pfeil), who celebrated his first podium in Dortmund. Paul Bloy (Dörr Motorsport – TRIUMPH Racing powered by Krettek) was less lucky, whose ambitions were slowed down by a crash; he finally finished the race in twelfth place, two laps behind. In the final championship standings of the ADAC SX Cup, Calvin Fonvieille (93 points), Jules Pietre (72 points) and Mickael Lamarque (53 points) occupy the top three places.

The decision in the ADAC SX Cup has been made, but it remains exciting in the local event standings: In the race for the title of "Prince of Dortmund", Fonvieille leads after two of three days with the maximum haul of 50 points, followed by Lamarque with 42 points. However, the final coronation will not take place until the grand finale on Sunday.

Changed starting position in the SX Next class: The previous day's winner Oskar Romberg (Meyer Yamaha Racing powered by DirtScrub) was unable to start due to injury. Pius Bergmann (Motorrad Waldmann) in particular benefited from this, leading the race from the first lap onwards. Despite his dominance, Bergmann experienced a moment of shock on the last lap when his bike briefly went out. "I looked around because I didn't know how much of a lead I had. It ended well after all," he commented on the incident with relief and added: "Huge thanks to the organizing team of ADAC Westphalia. This event is amazing. And of course thanks to my team Motorrad Waldmann." In the end, he brought the victory to the finish line with a 4.652-second lead.

Behind him, the race was turbulent. Emil-Manuel Buccioni (Motorrad Waldmann) first secured the holeshot, then lost places, but fought his way back up to second place. On lap five, his ambitions for a top spot came to an end after a crash on the washboard, which eventually dropped him back to ninth place. Christian Forderer (S-TECH Racing Products) benefited from this, who improved massively after a tenth place on Friday and crossed the finish line in second place today. The podium was completed by Luca Harms (Becker Racing). Carl Massury (STC Racing), Leo Paukovic (Zweiradcenter Umbach) and Kimi Schmidt followed on the other ranks.

In the SX4 class, Eddi Haustein underlined his current top form on Saturday evening and took an unchallenged victory. While he controlled the action at the front and crossed the finish line first after six laps with a lead of over six seconds, he nevertheless humbly classified the success: "Even if the lead was large, there can be no question of easy. Today the track was better than yesterday and everything went according to plan." Behind him, Bruno Lenarz redeemed himself for his bad luck the day before and secured a solid second place. The last free place on the podium went to Maximilian Tse An Auer, who was highly satisfied with his third place after only one day of training in the run-up to the event.

A bitter drama, on the other hand, took place at the end of the field. Franz Bähr, who had shone in third place on Friday, had to accept a bitter setback. Plagued by a foot injury from the morning training, the technique also went on strike at the start. "The clutch just broke," he reported disappointed, but was already looking forward to the finale on Sunday: "I hope that dad can fix it, then I'll attack again."

In the overall standings, Haustein now leads the standings with the ideal score of 50 points, while behind him an exciting duel develops between Lenarz and Auer (both 40 points) for the other podium places.

On the second day of racing, Oskar Gajewski once again secured a commanding lights-to-flag victory in the SX5 class. On the approximately 300-metre-long track, the nine-year-old controlled the six-lap race from the start and celebrated his second victory after his success on Friday. However, the local hero Hannes Bremke, known as Sänger, put the leader under massive pressure over the entire distance. He was in second place from the start and crossed the finish line just 1.025 seconds behind. Hugo Coscarelli completed the leading group in third place.

Hannes Bremke, known as Sänger, was visibly moved after the success in front of his home crowd: "It's really cool to finish on the podium here in Dortmund at my home race. I've had this dream for three years. But this year I was confident." In the overall standings for the title of 'Mini Mini Prince of Dortmund', Gajewski leads after two of three days with the maximum score of 50 points ahead of Coscarelli and Bremke called Sänger.
