The stage is officially set for this weekend’s Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship presented by Monster Energy, with riders and teams hitting the track at Sharks Stadium, Cronulla today ahead of tomorrow night’s packed out Sydney showdown.

With the stadium floor transformed by 5,500 tonnes of dirt, riders hit the track for the first time to dial in setups and sample the tight, technical course that will host Round 3 of the championship.

SX1 contenders Dean Wilson (USA), Aaron Tanti, Luke Clout, Phil Nicoletti (USA), and Cedric Soubeyras (FRA), along with SX2 riders Lux Turner, Cole Thompson, and Alex Larwood, all took to the circuit — showcasing blistering pace and confidence ahead of what’s tipped to be one of the most intense rounds yet.

After a demanding start to the season, Dean Wilson said he’s feeling ready to deliver in Sydney:

“The track’s looks great — it’s tight and technical, which should make for some great racing. It’s been a tough few weeks for me personally, but I’m feeling really good this week and ready to do my Mum proud.”

AUSX Director Adam Bailey said Sydney’s Supercross debut marks another key milestone in the championship’s national growth:

“To bring the series to Sharks Stadium for the first time is massive — it’s an iconic sporting venue, and the Shire crowd will bring an incredible atmosphere. The track’s tight, fast, and packed with passing opportunities — it’s going to be spectacular racing under lights.”

The Team Owner Press Conference followed, featuring Craig Dack (CDR Yamaha), Yarrive Konsky (Honda Racing), Kyle Blunden (KTM Australia), and Brad McAlpine (Kawasaki), who discussed team performance after Round 1+2, what to expect this round.

Adding to the star power, Justin Brayton (USA) and Adam Cianciarulo (USA) joined the AUSX broadcast team — taking to the track and teasing their special Showdown appearance at Sharks Stadium on Saturday night.

To round out the weekend lineup, the Freestyle Kings FMX Crew will deliver a world-class stunt show trackside, alongside the free Fan Fest kicking off from 12:00 PM Saturday — featuring rider signings, music, giveaways, come-ride zones, and family fun.
