Italy have selected their team for the Matterley Basin held event in a months time, with Mattia Guadagnini (MXGP), Andrea Bonacorsi (Open) and Andrea Adamo (MX2) being the three rider who will represent our national team at the next Motocross of Nations.

Giovanni Copioli, FMI President: “We will go to England with the aim of repeating last year’s excellent performance. We have a team made up of young but at the same time experienced guys, who have shown throughout their careers that they can compete at high levels and achieve excellent results. We know that in these competitions teamwork is fundamental, I am sure that our riders will give their all to achieve the best possible result. I wish them and Technical Commissioner Traversini the best of luck“

Thomas Traversini, FMI Technical Commissioner: “There is less and less time until the 2024 Motocross of Nations and our guys can’t wait to get on the track to demonstrate their worth. Also for this year we have decided to call up a team with a low average age because we believe in the strength of the Italian youth system and because we can count on guys with enviable human and qualitative characteristics, who have demonstrated in recent years that they can achieve excellent results. As with every edition, there will be ambitious teams that will aim high, but we will not be outdone”.
