The Champions List
While we have a huge season in 2026, it shouldn’t be forgotten what is possible when it comes to legends moving even further up the all-time list. Obviously, the big three are Stefan Everts, Antonio Cairoli and Joel Robert, with 10, 9 and 6 world motocross championships each, but below them, could see a changing of positions at the end of the 2026 season.
Obviously, the two biggest names, Jeffrey Herlings and Tim Gajser could join Robert with six world titles and being that Herlings has 112 GP wins and Gajser has 52, they would both pass Robert on the all-time list as he has 50 GP wins.
Frenchmen Romain Febvre and Tom Vialle who have two world titles each, could join the likes of Dave Thorpe, Alessio Chiodi, Paul Friedrichs, André Malherbe, Yves Demaria, Guennady Moisseev and Greg Albertyn. Of course, some of the guy with one world title, Kay De Wolf, Simon Langenfelder, Andrea Adamo, Paul Jonass and Maxime Renaux all have the chance to join the list below and have two world titles.
