In just his fifth season in professional racing, 21-year-old Jett Lawrence is already 14th in the all-time winners list for AMA racing. In fact, if you want to include his SMX victories, he is closer to the top ten but let’s not count those for now.

In just four short years, when he started his victory run, he has taken a major AMA title every single year since 2021 and is easily, the man of the hour in this current era.

The championship charge started with his 2021 AMA Motocross 250cc, and followed with another 2022 AMA Supercross 250cc East, then 2022 AMA Motocross 250cc, 2023 AMA Supercross 250cc West, 2023 AMA Motocross 450cc, 2023 SMX 450cc, 2024 AMA Supercross 450cc, and finally, the 2024 SMX 450cc championship.

His victories come in AMA 250cc Supercross: 13, AMA 250cc Motocross: 14, AMA 450cc Supercross: 8 and AMA 450cc Motocross: 15. Already a legend of the sport and in my opinion, the future GOAT of the sport.

Lawrence will more than likely pass Mark Barnett, Ken Roczen and Broc Glover in 2025 and could easily catch Chad Reed, Jeff Ward, Ricky Johnson and Bob Hannah this year, if everything goes as it gone until now.

The current GOAT, Ricky Carmichael had a professional career from 1997 until 2007, so 11 years. Lawrence has had sixth seasons, so its going to be hard work for the Aussie to get to the 150 overall wins of RC, but I think he does it. He will need to dominate the 17 rounds of AMA SX and the 11 rounds of AMA MX each season, and also continue to win the SMX titles.
