Tomac Too Strong in WSX
Eli Tomac once again showed he is a level above Ken Roczen with a stand-out performance on his KTM debut. The American went 1-2-1 for victory in the second round of the World Supercross Championship, held in Vancouver, Canada, beating home Roczen, who scored 3-1-2 scores. Third in the SX1 class was Jason Anderson with 2-3-4 finishes.
Eli Tomac: It was overall a good weekend and the motorcycle transfered too to our testing. First our first race, you don't know what is coming. For the most part, we were not searching for much. This is a good package. Track had a little bit of everything, it was tough, but overall, I had fun. What I was most happy about was I could hold onto it and we are off to a sweet start. It was super close one of the races. That moto was tough. I don't know what happened, but I got a crazy jump in one of them, in the third one. I knew, Kenny was riding good and I had to go out and try and holeshot and get away from him. We were both flying tonight.
Max Anstie again showed his class, going 1-1-1, while Coty Schock scored 2-2-2 finishes and third was Enzo Lopes scored 3-3-3 results. Anstie also won the superpole earier in the night, with Justin Cooper winning the SX1 superpole.
Max Anstie: It was a tough one. After Argentina I got really sick, got a cold and ear infection. I felt like I was under water and it wasn't great. To come here and execute, I was happy to hit my marks. It wasn't the prettiest, but happy with the overall results.
